Watch Family Guy Season 2 Episode 17 Online. Most of which has the clearest message of any adult animated show. It has crazy humor for adults and teens, but it also has some heart to it. My favorite episode is I never met the dead man, where Brian gets Stewie a learner’s permit and Stewie ends up crashing the car into a truck with chicken. And the craziness after Stewie gets the permit. My second favorite is Wasted Talent, where Peter gets drunk for the first time in his life and Lisa Loeb sang “I do” at a wedding and everybody falls in love with her so Lois, Quagmire and themselves start drinking too becoming a thirstier bunch than usual.
Family Guy Season 2 Episode 17: Da Boom. After Peter accidentally shoots himself, he has a vision of the future and discovers that it was an atomic bomb that made Lois sterile. The Griffins then have to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, but soon prepare to go in search of a fabled land of milk and honey. I'm not exactly diehard fan of Family Guy, but I do watch it every week. If a show makes you laugh, keep watching and that's what I do with this show. I got into watching family guy because of my mum. We used to watch episodes together, it was a bonding experience like no other.
Family Guy has been designed from the start to be a situational humor show. Seth MacFarlane and his writers don’t mean for it to be a truly realistic depiction of a family; it’s just a setting their jokes are based on. It should not be compared to The Simpsons or South Park because those are pure satire shows; Family Guy just uses random jokes with no underlying meaning or message. Chris decides to write an essay on family values and tries to find the meaning of family. Peter has a mishap at work and is sent home sick. Lois sets out to make a healthy dinner but finds herself going overboard.
I bought this DVD to complete the second series. As usual it was delivered quickly and in excellent condition. The disc was immediately playable and has never caused me any problems. There is a cut-away gag in one of the episodes where Stewie points at Lois' lunchbox and asks her what her husband isn't eating. That riff on the Energizer Bunny adverts still makes me laugh out loud, as does Brian's piano solo in another episode (fans will know which one). Consisting of 22 episodes, there are some other highlights including the first appearance of Evil Monkey and the 'Hot Chick' cast member who would become known as Abranramson & %:-D
After scaring a group of people out of a Breathalyzer test by pretending to be drunk, Brian is arrested for a DUI. In order to pay the damages after having his license revoked, he gets a job as an assistant for disabled children. Meanwhile Peter, Cleveland and Quagmire form a band called “The Dirty Dancers” to work off the weight of their beer bellies. After learning from Dr. Hartman that his new disability caused by his constant drinking could take its toll on his body, Brian decides to quit drinking and learn what it is like to be sober again. At first it goes great with Brian taking up activities he never would have while drunk such as horseback riding with Stewie, but Brian begins to feel less like himself without alcohol and tries to cope in different ways before deciding it isn’t worth being sober if he can’t get back everything he gave up by stopping drinking alcohol again.
